We are committed to “returning the surplus” as directed by the ethics of Permaculture.

By teaching classes and workshops, leading volunteer projects, and consulting on local affairs, we can share our knowledge and promote a healthy, productive community here in northern New Mexico, while benefiting the greater ecosystem.

Internationally, San Isidro Permaculture has partnered with foundations and organizations to offer design consultation, site visits, project coordination, installations, and trainings throughout the world. We have worked in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Democratic Republic of Congo, Malawi, South Africa, Mexico, Guatemala, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Belize and Jamaica.

Our calling is to help shift world development in a regenerative direction — building natural structures, growing food, catching rainwater, and restoring damaged landscapes and ecosystems — in short, creating opportunities for people to improve their lives while sustaining their environment.

I was seeking a deeper understanding of permaculture and practical application of its framework to “life” and Jeremiah was more than capable of providing this. His teaching methods encouraged deep conversations, engagement and participation from all the students and a huge amount of fun.
