Rainwater harvesting is the catchment and storage of rainwater and snowmelt for use in the home and garden. There are two main types of rainwater harvesting: Active Rainwater Harvesting and Passive Rainwater Harvesting. Both Active and Passive Rainwater Harvesting work to catch rainwater and snowmelt so that it can be used in the landscape and in the home.
